About Liz Thomas
"The light and landscape of Cornwall are at the heart of everything I paint."
Living in Cornwall provides a continuous anchor for my artistic work. The shifting coastal skies, rugged headlands, and quiet moorland light inform the textures and tones across all my pieces.
I am a self-taught painter working predominantly in oils, alongside pastels, acrylics and mixed media. Studying the methods and perspectives of other painters continuously prompts me to test new ideas, refine my technique, and explore evolving styles.
